I kinda figured we might never know the true story. In the old days, most normal people outside the combat arms in the military had quite literally never even HEARD of a SEAL.
It really was quiet.

Then I’m glad I never bought his book and fattened his wallet!
SEALs were essentially a classified unit right through the VN era.
Now it’s movies, TV shows, books, speaking tours....
