They want to be your Overlord. That means, in many ways, they want to GET to you.
What worked for me last time, was to not take them seriously. Or more specifically, to mock them.
At least twice, last time around, when some nudnik implored me to mask up, I said “Thanks, Karen” and ignored them.
I’ve been creating some new material if this comes back. My fav is to respond to a Mask Karen or Brandon with a hand wave followed by “…and now you’re invisible.”
Take the mask, blow your nose in it and hand it back to them.
Did anyone tell you to leave the premises if you didn’t mask up, and add that if you didn’t leave, that they would call the cops on you for trespassing?
