A few public whippings would probably cut down on that.

Think they kind of tried that back in the 40s...

They can toss the key as far as I’m concerned.

I have very little tolerance for people who destroy property
hundreds of years old. Thousands? Body parts start missing!

Even the retreating German Army spared some of Florenceā€™s treasures, Under orders from Hitler eg to not blow up the Ponte Vecchio as they retreated northward. Too bad these soccer hooligans are less civilized than their forebears.

Flog them with a noodle, force them to change the spark plugs in a Lamborghini Jalpa, then dangle them over Mount Vesuvius by their ankle.

The vandals have sacked Italy again this year.

Props for a good opening line.

I’ve been to Florence; the gardens, the Uffizi Museum, Duomo, the Tower. We bought the museum pass, did the hightlights, and then hit some of the little churches later. Had some of the best Gelato of my life near the river.

I loved it as much as I did Rome.

I’m with you. After a serious beat down, toss these punks in jail.

For what it is worth, graffiti has been a part of Italy for 2000+ years. Go to Pompeii or the Napoli Archeological Museum and you will find evidence of graffiti from the Roman Empire. Napoli has graffiti from the BC Greek occupation. The Vatican Museum (Raphael Room) has carvings in the wall from the Reformation that simply state “Martin Luther.”
