Republican candidates revealed Wednesday night if they would support former President Donald Trump if he were “convicted in a court of law,” with some delaying raising their hand — including Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, who looked around first —
Anti-woke businessman Vivek Ramaswamy was the first candidate to raise his hand, followed by several others including former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley, South Carolina Sen. Tim Scott, and North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum — an action which prompted cheers.
DeSantis could be seen glancing over toward Ramaswamy’s side of the debate stage and proceeded to raise his hand after four of his challengers already did. At that point, former Vice President Mike Pence raised his hand, followed by a hesitant former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christi, who later asserted he did not raise his hand. Hutchinson did not raise his hand.

Great way to lead, desanctimonious!
Oh, shades of Jeb!
Please Clap!
DePathetic. 😏
Well, it is sometimes during an unscripted moment you get insight into someone.
When asked for an opinion on any subject, why would you look around to see other’s reactions first? If you have an opinion or position, you have that view regardless of what others think.
The Bland Meatball is no leader.
He is a follower.
I wonder if his donors approved...
I'm not a Ramaswamy fan but he had no hesitation raising his hand.
At least he was a bit more subtle than if he had licked his finger and held it up to know which way the wind was blowing.
Christi and Pence were pitiful with their delayed, half-hearted, motion.
It looked awful. Vivek raised his hand immediately, no hesitation, within a couple of seconds. DeSantis to looked the others before committing. The best we can conclude is he is just not ready and that is being charitable.
I didn't watch the debate or Trump's interview. I already know I'm voting for him a third time next year, if I'm still alive.
I watched a video Mark Dice made regarding the question they were all asked, and the raising of the hands. He also showed a bit of the responses when asked about a pardon for Trump. Pence said when he was Governor, he granted pardons, but that pardons were based on a finding of guilt, and "contrition on the part of the individual." He specifically worded it that way because he knows Trump would never apologize for questioning the 2020 election, which to me means, Pence would never give Trump a pardon.
Mark's YouTube video:
That’s leadership for ya. Sticking your finger in the air to see which way the wind is blowing before you pick a side.
“Republican candidates revealed Wednesday night”
That they are a pack of 2nd place losers?
.
I attended the debate. I hoped that at least one of the candidates would say, “Any of the current republican candidates would be better than President Biden.”
That's time you will never get back in your life, but I thank you for making the sacrifice. I might have had more fun than you, and I was only working on my family tree.
