Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) slammed new notions of mask and vaccine mandates as a “tragedy.”
While appearing on Jesse Watters Primetime, Paul blasted the “hysteria” being stirred by liberal commentators, saying it will financially benefit medical and pharmaceutical companies.
“These people are so conflicted,” Paul said. “It’s so dishonest to put people like that on the air to promote a product that they make more money from ... promote the hysteria. This defies all logic. It defies science, and it defies common sense.”
The Kentucky Republican’s comments come as Morris Brown College in Atlanta, Georgia, announced a renewed mask mandate.
Additionally, around 100 colleges are continuing with their vaccine mandates, according to No College Mandates, which monitors remaining COVID-19 mandates on college campuses.
Rutgers University, among those still mandating the vaccine, has threatened to disenroll students who do not comply.
“That university that’s wanting to mask up and do all this testing — zero cases,” Paul noted. “But even worse than that, even when COVID was really more potent in 2020, the death rate for young, healthy people turned out to be close to zero. We don’t know for sure because the CDC won’t release it, but we do know that Germany released all of their data and not one young, healthy person died. So, it’s a crime to mandate masks. It’s a crime to mandate vaccines, which do have some risks for young, healthy people.”
“To see this coming up again, these people have no shame,” he added.

a school just shut down all classes because of covid- in kentucky of all places! More wil l follow as the left ramp up the hype over a virus that is so benign that people have to be tested to even find out they have it-
So he should DO SOMETHING at the federal level
Such as legislation withholding federal grants and contracts from any Uni or other institution ( hospitals) threatening patients students and faculties with sanctions for not taking an injection which has” death” as a possible side effect
That school is stupid and should be sued and required to disclose actual harm to public health cause by this latest “ variant”….because it wont be able to
The Left seems determined to destroy all respect for institutions and traditional norms. Release criminals. Men can give birth. Boys are girls, etc.
The mask and vac mandates are likely mostly about grifting, controlling people, and manipulating the election.
Is aanother part of the Dems strategy to cause ever more people to lose all faith in government, thus to acceleerate social collapse or/and provoke more people into open rebellion so the feds can neutralize them??

I live in different B10 town. It is amazing the experts here ditched the mandates while experts at Rutgers are still enforcing them.
