The people on Maui will be fine. Yes, the whole thing was a mess to start with, but if the homeowners and businesses had insurance they will be rebuilding soon. The help they need is in the replacement of their clothing and immediate housing. Again, this is standard for most insurance claims process.
I scratch my head when folks like you equate apples to pineapples. You all of a sudden think the Federal government needs to rush onto Maui…and do what? If Biden had not been an idiot last week about no commenting…he wouldn’t have to go there and stand in the soot. There is nothing he can do, except get in the way.
Equating it to aid to Ukraine, which came mostly from old inventory, is just ignorant. Unless you are sending old Bradleys to Maui.
But the main point it how we are treating the Ukrainians vs. how we are treating American citizens, and we have ongoing examples of how this government is mistreating American citizens. From the border crisis to East Palestine Ohio, to people with mental health issues & mutilation, to dumbing down our children, to sexual indoctrination, to false imprisonment of political opposition members, to inflation from out of control spending, to outrageous debt the government is saddling citizens with, to destruction of this nation and the list goes on & on. So, don't try to dismiss this as just something that doesn't deserve our attention as much as Ukraine deserves our money armaments etc.
Don't try to gaslight me that there is no connection either. It's not my fault that you fail to see what is staring everyone in the face.
