An Illinois school board fired an art teacher Sunday after parents complained the educator was posting about “Satan worship” and violence on social media, according to Fox 32, an Illinois-based outlet.
Homer Community Consolidated 33C School Board voted to fire an elementary art teacher, effectively immediately, following criticism from parents that the district did not properly vet the educator before hiring, according to Fox 32. Parents told the outlet that the social media posts depicted violence and mentioned having bipolar disorder.
“I’ve seen some anti-religious, child sacrifice, there was Satan worship,” one parent told Fox 32.
The school board faced backlash from parents after the popular social media account, Libs of TikTok, posted screenshots of an elementary art teacher’s social media account that allegedly featured “f[censored] the police” imagery and discussed having a disorder that causes violence.
Following the backlash from parents, the art class, which the educator in question taught, was canceled on the first day of school, WJOL.com reported. The district noted that it was investigating the situation ahead of the firing.
“As you may have heard or seen online, there has been some question and concern with regards to 33C hiring protocol and details surrounding the conditions of hire for new employees,” the district said in a statement ahead of the school board meeting, according to Fox 32. “While the district cannot speak on matters of personnel for individual employees, I do want parents to know that I have heard your concerns, understand the issues highlighted by the community, and am investigating the situation.”
Libs of TikTok claims that since posting the screenshots, the art teacher’s social media has allegedly been scrubbed, according to a blog post. Some of the social media posts noted that the art teacher has a “bipolar 1 disorder with mania and psychosis” which has caused the educator to do things that are “violent and hurtful,” the screenshots by Libs of TikTok show.
“Concerning posts and pictures that were posted, and not something that I would want to expose my children to at a young age,” a parent within the district told Fox 32. “I wouldn’t say they were all depicting violence, but they were referencing violence.”
“If he has his lifestyle, so be it, but that is not going to be put onto our children,” Julie McDaniel, a district parent, told the outlet.
Homer Community Consolidated 33C School Board did not immediately respond to the Daily Caller News Foundation’s request for comment.
Just the sort of person you want teaching young kids.
The teacher will argue you can't fire somebody for disabilities.
If the teacher was a union member, I seriously doubt he has been fired outright. There is a long investigation, levels of warning, or sometimes they simply pay them not to work. With your tax dollars, of course.
Fire someone because they have a missing limb? No.
Fire someone because they are coo-coo in the head? Yes.
Have worked with those people and they are fine, a little quirky and then they don't take their pills and go completely guano crazy.
Not the kind of person you want around children who can not defend themselves.
So then, who is this “Educator”? Name and face pic please.

Last I heard, that dude still has a job.
The HR individual who approved that slug for hire, should be terminated as well.
I swear this is related. Decades ago, I was at a college concert event. There was a young man very publicly smoking pot, which was not accepted anywhere in public at the time. A cop asked him to put it away. The young man said no, that “everybody does it. There’s nothing wrong with it.” The cop tried several times, then the cop sighed and arrested the young man. The young man was incensed! He couldn’t believe the cop was doing this.
Here’s the connection. Someone who makes public posts about his devotion to Satan or anything the rest of the world would look askance at...say pro-pedophilia comments, they do it because in their world, such things are just “normal.”
You see the same behavior with criminals who video themselves committing a crime. While it seems absurd to the rest of the normal polity, they do it because they live in a world where such things ARE the normal thing to do. So, you have to ask, is it safe to have your child around someone who espouses all the horror that is Satanism? Satanism and “normality” are not the difference between, say, Protestants and Catholics. It’s the difference between people who are happy to live with and around others and people who may consider sacrificing your child to raise a demon.
This is what happens when you go full “diversity.” Diversity is bad. It’s great to have other opinions and viewpoints when you are problem solving, that’s good diversity. It’s bad when the diverse person will kill you for not agreeing with his worldview. (That’s where “trans” is heading, by-the-way.)
When are school boards going to focus on hiring good teachers instead of treating it as an affirmative action program for diversity hiring?
That’s one of the main problems with public education these days.
You will see very much what may be expected.
"Libs of TikTok" is apparently a conservative group aimed at exposing liberals, as opposed to a group consisting of liberals. Perhaps you know that already. I had never heard of them before.
Libs of Tik Tok is a great site, run by a 30 something married mother of two. She simply shows libs telling the truth about their actual motivations. No need to even editorialize. She is the Sister link to James O’Keefe, former head of Veritas.
This former teacher appears to be filled, brimming with anger and aggression. He’s probably super easy to provoke into a spitting rage using some very minor trigger.
Trouble waiting to happen.
The issue with satanists is the leadership are psychopaths but know how to hide what they do.
Sort of.
Investigate whoever hired the “teacher” in the first place, and then fire them as well.
These are ELEMENTARY SCHOOL children (1-5 grade) being exposed to this madness!
First of all, I’m getting a “this site is not safe” when I clicked on this post.
Second of all, “Libs of Tik-Tok” is doing a great service in just exposing these people. All she has to do is highlight their own words and actions.
She goes through unbelievable sludge to show what teachers and such are actually posting and then gathers it and shows the world.
People who thought I was off my nut because I swore my children would never set foot in the kid prisons that were the public school system have changed their minds somewhat after showing them what she brings to light.
They still think I am a bit out there but concede that maybe I might have some reasons.
I encountered that message when trying to visit the home page a while ago.
She's doing the work good!
