This “hurricane” hasn’t amounted to much in the OC part of the LA Basin. Points east of us may have been hit harder.
Yeah…I haven’t climbed any trees today. We had my grandchild’s 4th birthday at a venue in No. Long Beach. Other than several heavy downpours. we were indoors …and the earthquake that made the chandelier lights swing a bit… had a great time. All made it home safe and sound. Water accumulation on streets was about the same for any heavy rain…actually lighter than when I walked to school in rainstorm mid 1960’s…. Drainage has been improved. Only dangerous thing I saw were the idiots driving 50 mph on water drenched streets, weaving in and out of lanes.
What’s a punter?
It was a rain delay at best 1 hour school delay.
