80 mph ?
Gusts?
Freepers please check in
Pfft. I’m near Redondo Beach and the rain has been nice and gentle. Maybe over an inch of it and a 10 mph wind. The fearmongers are lucky that earthquake hit so as to deflect from a nothing burger “hurricane.
60 - 70 mph straight line winds aren’t unusual during spring thunderstorms around here. Generally not a big deal. It’s the hail that runs up the costs. First few times I went through those, I’d check to see if the board fence had blown over. Never did.
see my post below on winds
There no no 80 mph gusts.
The tropical storm winds are 60 mph and slowing all the time. It’s not a hurricane.
It’s raining. Not hard. No winds yet.
South Orange county, light rain and wind so far. Didn’t feel the earthquakes north of Los Angeles.
I’m in LA and so far this whole apocalypse rain storm has been a dud it’s not raining here any worse than normal storms maybe it will get worse later but so far it’s been a huge overreaction typical of the commie media to do
LOL!
My ‘Ex’ is renting a room in A trailer
in Descanso ...
Should I call???
I’m in Northern San Diego county.
What winds? What gusts?
Mild, warm rain all day long.
I’ve been waiting for wind all day. Perhaps it’s just not here yet, or more inland. Here, it’s nothing.
Fastest winds today at LAX: 14 m.p.h. (most recent report had calm winds)

Fastest winds today at San Diego airport: 23 m.p.h.

Highest windspeeds I've seen reported were 45 m.p.h. in Yuma, Arizona and 40 m.p.h. in Imperial, California. Higher windspeeds were reported at higher elevations with no population -- both Sill Hill and Hauser Mountain reported 47 m.p.h.
Hardly a breeze. I had to laugh at 80 mph winds!!!! HAHAH!!!!!
I used to live near the Cajon Pass just off highway 138, that’s kite flying wind.
Santa Ana wind conditions of 100mph with gusts up to 120mph.
Try a Santa Ana condition that blows cars and big rigs right off the freeway, now that’s breezy.
I’ve been looking at windy.com every so often during the day and the highest winds in Southern Cal were maybe 20mph. Baja had stronger winds of 40mph. Nowhere did I see anything approaching 80mph.
