Washington — Hawaii Gov. Josh Green said Sunday he wished sirens would have alerted residents on Maui to evacuate... Yeah, that's too bad. Why didn't the sirens alert the residents?

Why didn’t they release the water to fight the fire?. I don’t know how much it would have helped but if only one life was saved it would have been worth it. As I recall that guy in charge of releasing the water has been reassigned.
