Why didn’t they release the water to fight the fire?. I don’t know how much it would have helped but if only one life was saved it would have been worth it. As I recall that guy in charge of releasing the water has been reassigned.

The guy in charge of the water once said there must always be a conversation about water “equity” before any water is released. That idiot belief is probably what slowed things up. Not kidding here.
