Within the last 10 days, a roaring day time fire started in a wooded area right next to I-5 near downtown Seattle in a homeless camp ground.
First news report - caused by a candle.
Several days later, the story quietly changed - caused by multiple explosions.
No explanation for the explosions, so my first guess - cooking meth?
The Bedrock fire in Oregon was reported publicly as “cause undetermined” but I know from LEO sources that it was an illegal campstove and that they have public notices out seeking info on the perp(s).
My interpretation is that they are hiding that fact (that homeless are causing the fires) for reasons which are all too obvious.
Last report I saw was that nearly all current Oregon fires were human-caused.

and without it....they were 100% safe....see the problem...
whoops....wring thread
wasn’t paying much attention when I heard about the fires in Washington... am sad to find out it wasn’t D.C.
Prayers to the folks in Washington.
The same evacuation orders as in Hawaii to those who’s homes weren’t touched by the fire?

I don’t know that was meth, but I know that homeless steal propane tanks for cooking and heat.

She is.
She wasn’t in that seat when we moved here.
Hoping this is true!!
I also recall the water battle in Klamath.
