Several top GOP donors, panicked about their current choices, are holding back 2024 money with the long-shot dream of luring an alternative to former President Trump into the presidential race at the last minute.
Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin and Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp are getting secret overtures from establishment Republicans — and haven't ruled out running, top sources tell Axios.

They're STILL so pissed that (horror!) the PEOPLE will be choosing the Republican nominee instead of THEM!
All of THEIR preferred candidates are milquetoast pantywaists. Golly gee, wonder why THOSE people can't get 20,000, 30,000, 40,000 or 50,000 people to come see them speak wherever they go for eight years straight.

“Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp”
The guy has no chance unless he calls a special session to pass a Trump team clemency law.

My dream is of a new honest political party. The demonicrat party is corrupt. The goop is full of the demonicrats and traitors. How about a party that polices up their own party?

“””irginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin is getting secret overtures from establishment Republicans — and haven’t ruled out running, top sources tell...””””
HMMMM-—Gov Ron DeSantis was once a huge favorite among the conservative Republican voters until Ron DeSanctimonious accepted those secret overtures from Establishment Republicans.
Glenn Youngkin might want to consider that little factoid before getting all warm and fuzzy with these secret overtures.

FOX news is pushing Va. Gov. Glen Youngkin — especially Laura Ingraham (phony). He’s another rich man in N. Va. private equity guy.
No thanks.

In my opinion if the Republicans run an alternative candidate against Trump the Republicans have conceded the election to the Democrats. Too many Trump supporters will not vote for any other candidate. The Democrats know it! That’s why they are trying so hard to keep Trump from being the Republican candidate. Unfortunately the never Trump Republicans know it too, but they don’t care.
