FreedomWorks senior economist and former Trump economic adviser Steve Moore joined "Faulkner Focus" Friday to call out President Biden for sounding "delusional" on the economy and touting the benefits of "Bidenomics." Moore responded to a recent remark from Biden in which he declared his economic policy "is working," while a Fox News poll found an overwhelming majority of Americans do not feel better off financially since Biden took office.
STEVE MOORE: When he keeps talking about how well the economy is doing, it almost seems delusional. It's almost like he doesn't understand the problems of people on Main Street across the country. I mean, Washington, D.C. is not the rest of the country. And so I think that's problematic for Biden,

I do grocery shopping. Prices still increasing.
They cannot admit it, even to themselves.

More HAPPY talk! Now!
Working class has been squeezed for years. In contrast, people used to do better from one to the next generation.
Here are the official data:

The past couple years have been brutal. But, notice the long-term trend has been flat or slightly negative, when we used to have good progress for people all up and down the income distribution.
I’m going to get technical here, so continue reading at your own risk: These data are biased in a couple ways that mostly off-set each other. They’re biased down because they’re based on the official CPI (when the chain-linked CPI would be better). And, they biased up because they’re not adjusted for taxes (and payroll taxes, state & local income taxes, sales taxes and property taxes have increased over the years).
Yeah, ALMOST like that.
The stinking bastard spent his entire adult life in the bubble of DC. Even before that, Delaware isn't exactly a major industrial or manufacturing area, so he never got close to "Main Street." The only thing Delaware is known for is corporate registrations.
(People feel ‘worse off)
There ain’t no “feel” about it.
We ARE worse off since Joe Biden started his disaster on the American people..
Oh come on now - Joy Reid and Robert Reich said the economy has never been better...
“More HAPPY talk! Now!’’
“Talking, talking happy talk!’’
“Talk about things you like do to!’’.
Where could you go??
While she was charming and smiled a great deal, the Resident of the White Powder House scowls and, given the prolongation of a non-NATO war between two non-NATO nations by Bloody Joe stoking the fires with war materiel and treasure, he has precious little left except the "happy talk" which more an more of those "Biden" voters are seeing through.
This means that, if he manages to run again, the deep state will assure he gets 81 billion votes, Christie and Pence will applaud, and Hillary Clinton will rage "why not me, dammit!"
Washington, D.C. is not the rest of the country. And so I think that’s problematic for Biden.
Spot on they live in their own little world clueless about how life in America is to them it’s what their advisers tell them what it’s like.
DC. is just a money and power deal for 90% of them.
Krogers is the only store in a town of 7K. Their brand of sliced single cheese went up 50 cents in a week. Even on sale. They use trickery signs, for the buy 5, apples at the peak of the season are higher than I’ve ever seen. Peaches are hard as rocks, tough meats, and bad corn, Most produce is poor looking, and they get later putting fresh out. Coupons are more Pick-up/Delivery only. I need to read the labels. Fixident on Pickup is $14+, store $7.00. Some regular items both brand and store brand taste different. Rice, Flour, Sugar, and dry Pasta is short supply. Diapers are being switched to Biodegradable so shortages. That is not stated. It was from a 2021 article, that there would be shortages as they changed over.
No one is telling the moms. Same with ladies’ sanitary needs.

I used to feed a family of 5 for the same amount it takes to feed a family of 2 now.
Same, I coupon-shopped a lot all my adult life. These digital ones are becoming Pick-up ^ Delivery only. At 75, I have to read labels, plus I check the markdown bin, and always check the expiration date, though they have made that harder to do. If you do Pickup know the charge more for some items. Fixadent is 1, It’s $7.00 in the store. $14.44 as Pick-up. The shopper just grabs and doesn’t pay attention to dates. I don’t use canned fruit, I taste the can. I’m allergic to blue, or red dyes, and seafood. Not allowed Grapefruit, soy, or English walnuts, I’m Hypothyroid. I bought store brands a lot, but now they are nearly as high and don’t go on sale. Milk is Skim for hub’s cereal, I cook with half and half, butter.
Then all that plastic they now wrap it in, is not healthy. Nanoplastic’s in your blood. Is as bad as the crap C-flu jabs left.
