Can you imagine what a judge would say if they try evicting them and they bring a copy of the cashed money order clearly showing that payment was made and clearly tampered with by the company’s designated agent?
I would not want to be on the receiving end of that.
My familiarity with court proceedings as well as law is limited, but I have trouble imagining it would go well for them.
