The B-25 Mitchell medium bomber named the “Ruptured Duck” was the mount of 1st LT Ted W Lawson, who authored the book and was the subject of the movie, “Thirty Seconds Over Tokyo,” one of the greatest WW II films of all time, starring Van Johnson and Spencer Tracy.
I don’t think that Doolittle’s bird had any designation other then Plane #1.
