Zelensky has dedicated the resources of the Ukraine to
defending the nation. It’s hardly a war crime or evidence
of wrong thinking for the leader of a nation to defend that
nation if it is invaded by a foreign power.
I think 18 is about the right age. Still, Canada has it
set at 17. Does this make Canada’s leader a war criminal
also?
Zelensky has evidently set it at 16, but we do not know if
that is for service at the front, or helping keep supply
lines running far from enemy lines.
Some articles area putting Russian losses at double the
Ukraine’s. If that is so, it reveals the rather reckless
nature of Russia’s actions.
The Ukraine is fighting for its very survival. That type
of situation does bring on challenging decisions. I do
not think Zelensky is somehow evil if he won’t surrender.

and is willing to return to it’s recognized borders by

In the weeks before and after Russia invaded, Zelensky assisted Israel in airlifting ten of thousands of Ukrainian Jews out of the country. I don't think he blocked teens or young men from leaving.
