MSNBC host Jen Psaki said Friday on “Morning Joe” that the Republican Party is pursuing “crazy whack-a-doo cultural debates” that most Americans do not agree with.
Psaki said, “If you take a step back from all the developments of the legal trials and tribulations of Donald Trump, is that the Republican Party has moved in a direction that’s out of touch with the American electorate.”
She continued, “The Ohio example you gave is such a good one, and unfortunately there’s a number of other cases in states across the country where there have been efforts to make it harder for people in red states and purple states and lavender, whatever color states they are, to express their support for abortion rights and the ability of women to make choices about their own health care, because there’s a fear that women will do exactly that, that men will do exactly that, because those positions are popular in the country.”

In every state thus far, the people have voted for abortion and homosexual marriage. We have lost the young people because the nation’s pastors refuse to stand and fight. It’s been sad to see that even Trump is talking about abandoning the unborn to win elections. We can’t betray our principles like that.

In the beginning the votes were against it. But now the majority very obviously supports it. Almost everyone under 40 favors it, even Republicans. The LGBTQRSTUV mafia worked constantly on their propaganda and it worked. They completely depoliticized it and also got many churches to sign off on it as well.
We could learn a lot from how they did it but instead we just waste our time talking about Hunter Biden’s naughty bits.

Alabama has some of the strictest laws in the nation surrounding abortion. All abortion after the point of conception–the fertilization of an egg–is illegal.
Somebody needs to tell Peppermint Psaki that her 15 minutes are up. Time to hang up the phone.
I would not agree with Psaki, but to the extent others do believe her, I think poor communications skills (how best to communicate an issue) among too many elected GOPers can be a part of the problem.
For instance:
(a) How many times have you witnessed elected GOP persons say that certain bans on “transgeder” medical procedures are right because surgical medical procedures and hormone treatments for immature youth are MEDICALLY wrong, on medical grounds??? Usually you don’t hear that and by leaving that and other imporant statements out many GOP elected officials obtain a public perception that they are trying to prevent what is “right” for a youth with gender dysphoria?
(b) How many times have you heard a GOP elected person say that the best gender affirming care is the mental health care that helps a child with gender dysphoria rid their mind of the obsession that is causing them so much trouble. That real gender affirming care is mental health care that affirms their biological sex?
I believe Alabama’s laws were not from a referendum. All the referenda on abortion have been won by the pro-abort side.
