Republican strategist and Fox News contributor Karl Rove suggested former President Trump should show up to the first GOP debate, which he has floated the idea of skipping.
Fox News’s Bill Hemmer asked Rove whether he would attend the first Republican debate next week if he were Trump, who has yet to announce whether he will attend. Rove said he would, noting that Trump will still face some problems if he shows up.
“There are dangers … if he shows up, he will be attacked by everybody in one way, shape or form,” he said on “America’s Newsroom.”
He said some GOP candidates, like former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, will be “hard” and “direct” when attacking Trump while others will try to “move around him.”

Yes, I have stated on other threads, have maybe Tucker or Joe Rogan on the livestream with Trump.
You’re right.
Reminds me a comedian once said a Jackass reality show contestant was badly injured when he foolishly placed himself between Michael Moore and a buffet table.
Nobody has seen Rove and Rachel Levine in the same room together.
He’s probably had the snip, but uses tuck friendly to feel like it means something.
“Turd blossom...”
Wow. Learn something new everyday. I thought his nickname was actually “Turd Bucket”.
#ChalkboardRINORove is a Bushie, but he is occasionally right when he talks about tactics and not policy. This is one of those cases, IMO.
What’s “retarded” about what Rove said, ChicagoConservative27? What he said was just common sense. Trump shouldn’t skip the debate. If Trump skips the debate because he is afraid of getting attacked, then it lowers my opinion of him. And others too, I reckon.
“There’s not a person on earth who doesn’t know were DJT stands on every issue. There’s no need for him to show up.”
Maybe Trump is as cowardly and unaware as you are, I am not certain. Trump needs to debate the other candidate to show he is not some kind of Republican King, which he is not, except perhaps to the voters who vote with their emotions.
Some tough guy Trump is. He’s scared Crispy Kreme if you ask me, because Christie can be just as rude and crass as Trump, and some uncomfortable truths would come out if they go toe to toe.
I’m no fan of Christie, but he and Trump are similar. As far as fat jokes Trump could try, he’s obviously not the best person to deliver those lines either.
Shall I continue?
