Oregon judges are elected. The new judge will be up for re-election in May 2024.

Well, that’s probably better than giving a lifetime Supreme Court appointment to a person who doesn’t know what a woman is.

Judges resign a few months before their term is up, Governor appoints new judge, judge runs unopposed...repeat ad infinitum.
