Have not been impressed with the twoAldi’s i have been in. Thankful it doesnt seem to be spreading near my area.
I don’t get impressed easily except when my neighbor’s daughter walked by in a bikini headed to the beach yesterday.
It is a unique operation. For the limited range of goods they offer the prices are very good. And the quality of most is comparable to or superior to the large chain groceries. Checkout lines can be long since there’s only 3 or 4 employees working at any time. Their produce doesn’t keep as long so it’s best to use it within a day or two of purchase. Basically, it’s a European style store with a German feel to the product selection. Acquired taste.
I wish we had a Wegman’s in the South. Publix doesn’t hold a candle.
