Kid Rock may have started the anti-Bud-Light campaign, but he certainly has not been the only star to make his feelings known. Most stars have been more subtle than Rock and did not, as he did, choose to shoot up cases of the formerly best-selling beer in the world, but lots of statements have been made.
Country-music stars Travis Tritt and John Rich (of Big & Rich fame) have made clear that they won't support the Anheuser-Busch (BUD) - brand anymore.
That's been a popular opinion for conservatives who took issue with the brand engaging the transgender social-media influencer Dylan Mulvaney for an online marketing campaign.
Now, the Bud Light saga has taken a new turn as Anheuser-Busch heir Billy Busch has offered to buy the Budweiser brand from its current owners.

I wonder how many people have permanently changed their beverage choice. It was not an issue for me. I never drank piss water.
Going back to the Busch family will make all Bud brands #1 again, the merit of the beer notwithstanding.
That said, the brewery science used by American Lager producers is the most advanced in the world, and nearly impossible to replicate for the home brewer.
No home brewer can craft a beer as clean as a Bud or Coors. Neither can the majority of commercial brewers worldwide.
And why would a brewer want to replicate it? Hilarious.
I homebrew and I don’t want my beer to be anything like mass produced piss water.I really don’t give a damn about their tech.
I dislike beer very much, but hubby loves the craft beers. In-Bev is selling off several of those brands, but I doubt we will buy them very much anymore. He’s just having more fun experimenting with more local breweries.
Bourbon. It's like beer, but for men.
*** Busch says the problem goes deeper than that.
“When you are a foreign company and you rely on these woke students that are coming out of these local colleges to do your advertising for you, you’re making a big mistake,” he said.***
The Busch heir speaks the truth. The woke kiddos have made a big mistake.
By definition, if AB InBev owns a brand, it’s not a craft beer. By they way, they are seeking buyers for about a dozen former craft beer brands.
Exactly. When I saw the list of brands that InBev owned, I was surprised. There were some halfway decent beers on that list. Still, no more in this household.
“No home brewer can craft a beer as clean as a Bud or Coors. Neither can the majority of commercial brewers worldwide.”
Negative amigo,it can be done. Just piss in a can and you’ve “crafted bud and colors.
You’re feeding the troll.
The head of the Bud Light Brand was a Harvard grad, not a local college kid. Probably would have known better but the comment shows the out of touch idiocy of the Busch family in general.
Everyone needs to keep in mind that Billy is just one of the Busch heirs. His dad, Augie had at least three wives and there are a whole pack of half siblings.
They all grew up in a wild ass rich family with kids dying, killing friends and girl friends in car wrecks, etc. etc. The Billy’s family is in a MTV reality show. His half brother used to fly his helicopter with the cops chasing him for impairment etc. etc.
He could call it “Billy Beer.”
“And why would a brewer want to replicate it? Hilarious.”
Not the beer itself.
The cleanness of it.
No fusel alcohols, DMS, esters etc.
See #16.
I suspect you brew ales.
Most stars have been more solid i n their convictions and haven’t backtracked (ie flip-flopped) like Rock did
so far anyways- they will likely fold too when the twinkle toes brigade learns about their opposition
Sounds like a family to stay away from, for sure.
