I think this is by design. The Democrat/Communist Party will serendipitously support Trump’s nomination through the persistent persecution of him, then use that persecution to provide Democrat/Communist states (or states such as Georgia run by Democrat/Communist-Lite governors) a reason to remove Trump’s name from the ballot.
The sad part is that 45% of republicans don’t understand the battle we are in and how we got here.
My guess:
55% hate the GOPe and uniparty
45% only focus on who can win the general and would support McCain, Romney, McCarthy, Ryan or whomever. (Anyone but Trump)
Today, DeSantis is the favorite because the rest are worse. But DeSantis is only 10% above Pence or others. The only chance these candidates have is if Trump is removed from the ballot. 45% will be fine with this, 55% will not. Not a winning formula to win the general.

If all these sham indictments are meant to peal off GOP Trump supporters there are some mighty disappointed libs right now. The motive might also be to get him physically off the ticket, or tied up in court too much to campaign.
When you hear the actual charges from an honest pundit they amount to a desperate house of cards barely balancing. And a plethora of less than legal maneuvers like the one that sank hunter’s sweat heart deal.
The only thing better than a disappointed dem is one that was filled with hope moments before.
