Following an at times confounding series of events on Monday, a grand jury in Fulton County voted to indict former President Donald Trump on more than one dozen counts for his actions in the aftermath of the 2020 election.

Just before 9:00 p.m. ET, the grand jury's decision was returned to Judge Robert McBurney and then handed off to the clerk to be docketed before being unsealed and made public shortly before 11:00 pm.

In all, the grand jury handed up a 98-page indictment against Trump as well as a handful of his allies including Rudy Giuliani, Mark Meadows, Kenneth Chesebro, Sidney Powell, and Jenna Ellis on an array of charges related to their conduct in the wake of the 2020 presidential election.

For Trump specifically, the grand jury voted to indict the former president on 13 counts:

Violation of the Georgia RICO (Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations) Act

Solicitation of Violation of Oath by Public Officer

Conspiracy to Commit Impersonating a Public Officer

Conspiracy to Commit Forgery in the First Degree

I'll add, get a new tatt, watch sports endlessly on the 65" propaganda device, buy more useless crap, put on another 20 lbs, take antidepressants and drink beer constantly while staring at stupid nonsense on a smartphone that tracks your every move.

I’m betting they’re talking about his phone calls, that he made while still president and twisting that.

I know they are dumb, but they really can’t be that stupid, can they? Makes me think some of this is orchestrating from above in there just following the orders.

Wut? How dare someone ask for the phone number to contact some elected official or government employee? Also, last I checked, suggesting people watch a certain television network, view a video, etc. It’s all covered under the first amendment.

Someone got fired for screwing up their plan and releasing the “results” before they actually voted online, forcing them to quickly regroup and have like the 11 o’clock press conference

Only the rabid Trump haters could support this indictment. This is what happens when Democrats are in positions of power. They act stupid and/or corrupt.

Just go ahead and break out the boxcars.

Oh, that's just silly. Today they would use electric busses to transport the undesirables to the camps.

No they won’t. It’s all rigged and it seems likely the idiot DA there went against the grand jurors and was so dumb they released the names.

Dumb people in power.

With regard to Rudy, I am sure you’re wrong. They’ll be wanting him to violate attorney-client privilege, and that he will not do. With regard to the others, I don’t know them well enough. It certainly does not happen every time, though weak characters like Cohen certainly folded fast. If it happened every time, then Trump would never have taken the oath of office, because already they were after that kid with the Greek name during the election in 2016. He was no fool, and no weak link, so he avoided their traps and kept his integrity.

“This should be it. Trump is now in the drivers seat. He’s a fighter. His mission is to get four acquittals. He says he innocent so he must have receipts. Let’s watch him in action.”

He will not win in DC….There will be more charges coming in DC.
supposedly the jury pool in Atlanta will be like the DC jury pool…. If so he will probably lose in Atlanta.

Trial? What for? They already made up their minds that the accused are guilty and need to spend the rest of their lives in prison. Or maybe, just to get a jump om things, they should just begin construction on the gallows.

It really is time to draw a line in the sand. Those indicted should do a presser together and tell Fanni to go to hell, and refuse to acknowledge her authority.
