Senator Hirono, many of the people of the country were blessed to be born in a home where lead paint was not used. Your crib must have been near the window and you chewed down a few too many lead paint chips! Those of us blessed enough to learn science and have had no exposure to lead paint chips have know for decades that climate change is real. The climate has been changing since the beginning of time. Please look at the real data and the real science before spouting off about the earth going through a catastrophic climate change event. Hirono should explain to the people of Maui how climate change caused a power company to not kill the electricity going thru downed electrical power lines that likely caused the wildfire disaster she’s trying to capitalize on.
