I read of an earlier report where it stated the FBI had already previously interviewed this character. Lead one to believe this was not his first rodeo regarding threats made.

Funny you mention Waco. A few years before F-Troop launched their great cattle trailer raid, the local McClennan County Sheriff had to arrest Koresh on a murder warrant that arose out of a shootout with the former leader.
Two men in blazers and cowboy hats went out and showed him a warrant, and he surrendered. No muss, no fuss.
