I can’t imagine being so addicted to power that I would refuse to retire until death. There is something very wrong with that.
Yes, seems to be a common affliction suffered by too many in DC. Biden, McConnell, Feinstein, Fetterman, and many more. You’d think after Ginsburg, they’d look at their legacy and replacement before holding out to their last breadth.
It is pathologically wrong. As an octogenerian myself, I can’t imagine getting up at 5 every morning, showering,shaving, putting on a monkey suit, grab quick breakfast, commuting thru traffic to spend the day in that filthy senate. Crazy.
