Wagner Group leader Yevgeny Prigozhin on Tuesday mocked the United States after a senior U.S. diplomat met with members of the military junta in Niger.
"The U.S. is trying to keep the Wagner group out of Niger," Prigozhin said in a message posted on Telegram, according to translations in Russian media. "'Heavy artillery' is being brought in for this. Acting Deputy Secretary of State Victoria Nuland is in a country that defeated colonialism under Russian flags."
Prigozhin directly referenced Nuland's quote about the "risks to their sovereignty" in relation to Wagner and praised his fighters.
"I am proud of the boys from Wagner. Just the thought of them makes ISIS and Al-Qaeda small, obedient, silky boys," the mercenary boss said. "And the U.S. has recognized a government that it did not recognize yesterday just to avoid meeting the Wagner PMC [Private Military Company] in the country."

“Italian PM Meloni calls out the dirt bag Macron and the French for exploiting child labor in Niger at the 2:01 minute mark.”
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
CapandBall, you are en ammateur.
You are fundamentally mistaken on a spectacular level.
You fell for FAKE NEWS! I’m sorry for you. You are a victim.
The video you are talking about has been debunked.
First of all:
- It’s a video dating back form 2019. Totally out of context compared to the Niger coup.
- The woman you see in that video isn’t Meloni! She is NOT the President of Italy. The woman you see is a lawmaker from Italy’s Parliament back in 2019.
And now the BEST of all (!):
The main destination of Gold exports from Burkina Faso are: Switzerland ($6.72B), India ($935M), Rwanda ($22.2M), United Arab Emirates ($19M), and Italy ($5.11M).
FRANCE ISN’T EVEN ON THIS LIST AS THE MAIN BENEFICIARY, BUT ITALY IS! Ironic right??
“In 2021, Burkina Faso exported $7.71B in Gold, making it the 14th largest exporter of Gold in the world. At the same year, Gold was the 1st most exported product in Burkina Faso. The main destination of Gold exports from Burkina Faso are: Switzerland ($6.72B), India ($935M), Rwanda ($22.2M), United Arab Emirates ($19M), and Italy ($5.11M).”

Concerning the video I checked it myself again, and it’s probably her (there are actually 2 similar videos where she says about the same thing). However, it is confirmed that the videos are indeed since 2018 - 2019, thus 4 - 5 years ago. She looked very different then compared to now.
Back then she wasn’t even a prime minister. Thus she didn’t speak in the name of the Italian Government.
Here is what is misleading and false:
After so many years, this video has magically resurfaced right now, making people believe that she is somehow reacting to the Niger coup. It’s not the case.
She is talking about France “abusing” Burkina Faso, and what she said about that is absolute falsehood:
She says: “50% of everything that Burkina Faso exports ends up in the French treasury”.
And she continues by showing a picture (in video 2): “The gold that this child goes down a tunnel to extract, mostly ends up in the coffers of the French state.”
Here is the Truth:
1) While in 2019 France helped a number of African States to safekeep 50% of their foreign currency reserves, those countries had total free access to this reserve!
France even paid interest while holding them (at 0.75%).
NOTE: The concerned African countries pooled these reserves with two African central banks which then deposited them with the French treasury. Africa did this willingly, and remained in full control.
But today there are no such reserves left in France, it has all been sent back to Africa, I believe years ago.
Also, France never “demanded 50% of everything Burkina Faso exports” either.
The shocker is this:
She was insinuating France was sucking Burkina Faso’s gold, when in reality it was ITALY (!) the greedy gold-sucker!
What an Ironi huh?
INDEED:
The main destination of Gold exports from Burkina Faso are: Switzerland ($6.72B), India ($935M), Rwanda ($22.2M), United Arab Emirates ($19M), and Italy ($5.11M).
FRANCE ISN’T EVEN ON THIS LIST AS THE MAIN BENEFICIARY, BUT ITALY IS!

So... Even though I remain a great supporter of Meloni, what she said back then was a falsehood and a mistake.
Just stop, you are confused by your own BS.
Meloni became PM of Italy in October of ‘22, and both the videos are from after she was PM.
