Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Ala.) said Monday he did not think Ukraine could win the war against Russia and compared Ukraine’s efforts to a junior high team trying to defeat a college team in a hypothetical sports match.
In an interview with Fox News’s Laura Ingraham on Monday night, Tuberville touted his record voting against funding for Ukraine and said that, while he supported the country’s efforts over Russia, he thought Ukraine was outmatched and that no amount of funding would change that.

Ukraine does not need to win the war. They just need to stop Russia from winning and with Russia now acknowledging the loss of 284,000+ soldiers since February of last year it looks like they’re starting to wake up to reality.
uh you can’t win by broadcasting your strategy - we heard about the counteroffensive for months. this is how Dems think war is waged. DJT rolled up ISIS before people even knew what was going on. ahem.
I mean he’s not wrong from a manpower and resource infrastructure point of view, but tactically the Russians are really stupid and always have been to varying degrees. I’m very much against our involvement in this war, but pound for pound the Ukr soldier is a much, much better war-fighter.
Is this what the new Langley manual is telling you to say?
because not too long ago, it was Ukraine will re-take Crimea and push the Orc RuZZZZian invaders back to their own borders.
If this is what you people are down to, you're so done.
There is is no plan to remove Russia from the real estate they took. It doesn't exist.
The "counteroffensive" was a fundraising operation/telethon, so it had to be broadcasted... like the "spring surge"... whatever that was.
Probably not a good comparison. I recall when Obama dismissed ISIS as a JV team. Right before they took over half of Iraq..
Watching the media build an offramp is delightful. Most of our Zeepers are on the run, with 4-5 diehards remaining, still banging on empty barrels. Mock them, laugh at them, enjoy their buffoonery.
It’s a little league team playing a professional team, but with an opposing professional team sponsoring the little league team in futile proxy football game.
Probably not a good comparison. I recall when Obama dismissed ISIS as a JV team. Right before they took over half of Iraq..
++++++++++
Perhaps the best current comparison is a team of 15 year old boys playing the USWNT?
You forgot
The marxist driving force
pc madness agenda
That blinds these murdering
Suicidal crazies
From seeing what is really going on
14 all at the half.
Maybe we should ridicule them but I don’t think it’s the war directly that is upsetting it’s the continued falling for government lies and propaganda that should worry people.
Since WW II just about every conflict the USA has been involved in started out with lies upon lies and have caused 10s of thousands of Americans deaths and the deaths of countless others, in this case Ukrainians and leaves the country in ruins
Given how government lies about nearly everything I don’t understand anyone falling for anything as absurd as Ukraine having the ability to defeat Russia even as Russia has shown its no military juggernaut
Mark Davis said fund the Uks only until the year ends. Fine with me.
There is something to be said for our enemies fighting others.
We helped Russia with Lend-Lease. It took 2 and a half years to prepare for the Normandy invasion. The Russians think we delayed it to allow them and the Krauts the time to carve each other up so there’s little thanks in return. Russia has always been paranoid. They’ll do stupid/crazy things. All of Europe is guilty.
The Ukrainians hate us.
Why are we sending them.....anything?
Sorry; but Tuberville should remember brocko saying that about ISIS. It’s not a smart comment.
Maybe better to say “Neither side can win this pointless, needless war.”
There is no winner in this damned thing.
I do not enjoy their buffoonery. It is sad to watch people being programmed by the hidden persuaders.
