Ron DeSantis has replaced his campaign manager Generra Peck, in what is the third major reshuffling of his operations, a campaign spokesperson and a person familiar with the move confirmed to POLITICO.
Peck will be shifted to a role of chief strategist as part of the new order. Taking her place atop the campaign will be James Uthmeier, who has served as chief of staff in DeSantis’ governor’s office.

“It seems clear they don’t think things are going well in the campaign.”
Their sole concern at this point is keeping the whale contributors on the hook so the consultants can steal their money.
If that effort falls short then things are not “going well”.
Think of it like a Ponzi Scheme—look at the cash inflows and the cash outflows and then everything starts to make sense.
Update on the DeSantis campaign’s month long reset: they just fired their campaign manager @GenerraPeck. Tbh, I don’t think Generra was the problem.
Rod DeSantis is just a piss poor candidate that no one likes. And his comms operation run by @ChristinaPushaw has been a complete and total disaster. But DeSantis can’t fire Christina because she clearly has something on him… Maybe we’ll find that out soon!

If we can’t win with Trump, we sure can’t win with DeSantis. For the record, I like DeSantis, but he should have stayed out of this election. Well, he actually should have stayed in it by running Florida and using his political capital to support Trump against the swamp.

It's becoming more and more evidence that it was Trump that pulled DeSantis over the finish line in the 2018 Florida primary.
I agree completely. If I remember correctly, he said he wasn't going to run for president. Somebody got to him after the 22 blowout to change his mind.

There is me person who is responsible for the failures
of the DeSanctus campaign.
His poor judgement and decisions have destroyed
Rob’s chance to be President and destroyed his career.
That person is Rob DeSanctus!
He needs to be fired ASAP.
