I read between the lines in one of this string of sensational stories that these particular records have been kept since 1979.

How would Buontempo know that anthropogenic emissions are the main driver of temperature increases? Does he have a direct tie to God? Probably he figures the sun (or the Son) has nothing to do with the temp increases & decreases. I think he has a few things to learn yet.

By the way, didn’t I read that NOAA quietly changed the way that they were measuring earth’s temperature? Instead of measuring at 2.0 meters above the earth, they are now measuring at 0.0 meters. One might think that measuring dirt and concrete might result in a little warmer measurements than the air temperature.
Now, with the official data in, the scientists have officially determined that July 2023 was the hottest month dating back to at least 1940.
