Former Gov. David Paterson warned Sunday that New York City could revert to the crime- and debt-riddled days of the 1970s if government doesn’t ease up on developers — adding the Big Apple’s migrant crisis is at its “tipping point,” too.
“Look what happened at the hotels where the hotels were filled up,” the former governor told host John Catsimatidis on “Cat’s Roundtable” on WABC-77 radio, referring to the city’s desperate attempt to house the flood of recent asylum-seekers from the US’ southern border. “The excess migrants, mostly males … chose to sleep on the street rather than go to another facility,” Paterson, 69, said.
“I think it’s a tipping point,” he said of the crisis. Paterson, 69, also warned that higher taxes, particularly on the real-estate industry, will cause more people and businesses to leave New York.

If the whole city collapsed into chaos and mob violence, how would we know?
And.....?
Your point?
I have an idea - put up a fence so the bad decisions of NYers and the ilk they voted for can reap what they have sown for decades.
The problem that New York has created by declaring themselves a sanctuary city is so bad a blind man can see it.
Even rogers won’t live there what a dump
“...a blind man can see it.”
and smell it,
Take your medicine, New Yuck.
Hate has no home here in New York City
Neither do taxpayers.
Send NYC 1000 more buses loaded with illegals. They want to be a kumbaya city then they should receive their wish
This is the idiot that cheered when Rush Limbaugh moved to Florida.
He’s blind so it won’t matter to him anyway. Paterson replaced Eliot Spitzer, then got caught up in his own sexual scandals. Although blind, he was able to find his way to the closet at the Governor’s mansion, and was caught in a compromising position with an employee. There were rumors of dalliances with other women, and Paterson was still married at the time. He later admitted to having sex with “many women” in the years leading up to his divorce in 2014. Also as Governor, he was fined $62,0000 for soliciting gifts, ie., Yankee game tickets. He lied about it at first, then admitted to it, but wasn’t charged with perjury. He was also accused of interfering in a domestic abuse investigation of his top aide. He personally called the female complainant/witness the night before the trial was supposed to take place, but was let off on that as well. With all the scandals brewing, he chose to bow out of the 2010 run for Governor. This is the jerk that appointed Kirsten Gillibrand to replace Hillary in the Senate.
Even their blind former Gov. can see it.

Go to the midwest.
Entire towns have been taken over.
But it only matters if NYC sees it
Rush said “People who say they live in New York for the vibrant cultural life of theater and music and art, or the excitement of the city life are lying. All of them only barely tolerate New York and the ridiculously high prices, gridlock traffic and crime rate for their careers and making money there.”
Yeah right. Things are already far worse than any time in the history of NYC. The 70’s would have been a cake walk compared to now.
