DeSantis: If Election Is a Referendum on Documents by a Mar-A-Lago Toilet Republicans Will Lose
Breitbart ^ | 7 Aug 2023 | PAM KEY

Posted on 08/07/2023 10:49:19 AM PDT by conservative98

Governor Ron DeSantis (R-FL) said on NBC’s “Today” that if the 2024 election is a referendum on former President Donald Trump’s legal cases, the Republican Party will lose.

DeSantis said, “If the election is a referendum on Joe Biden’s policies and the failures that we’ve seen, and we’re presenting a positive vision for the future, we will win the presidency and we will have a chance to turn the country around. If on the other hand, the election is not about January 20, 2025, but January 6, 2021, or what document was left by the toilet at Mar-a-Lago, if it’s a referendum on that, we are going to lose. That’s just the reality.”

Reporter Dasha Burns said, “But you know with Trump in the race that is largely what it is going to be about and not fighting against Joe Biden, you are fighting against Trump.”

DeSantis said, “That’s not a pathway for success for the Republican Party. I think a lot of our voters understand that.”

Burns asked, “Yes or no, did Donald Trump lose the 2020 election?”

DeSantis said, “Whoever puts their hand on the Bible on January 20 every four years is the winner.”

Burns said, “But respectfully, you did not clearly answer that question and if you can’t give a yes or no whether or not Trump lost–”

DeSantis said, “Of course he lost.”

So you also think Biden got 81 million votes with no
fraud? Wow...

Another Florida resident and DeSantis voter who knows Trump was too weak to stop the steal while a sitting POTUS. It’s folly to expect anything different from Trump in 2024.

"What matters is what SCOTUS recognized, and even the Trump appointed justices denied cert in TX v PA."

Cert votes are black box -- never revealed. Justices may, but rarely do, issue concurrence or dissent in cert.

So shut your hole, Democrat.

Yes, Biden is in the White House. How come? Trump lost the election. That’s just how things work. Trump had an opportunity to contest it, but his attempts to legally claim it was stolen did not hold up in the few cases he filed. And he filed nothing after J6.

I’m not happy about it. His lack of effort in doing anything about it but complain has been unacceptable to me, because he’s set us up for the same exact thing to happen again this time.

And I take no joy is posting this link either, but there are many many others out there just like it. Democrats were predicting exactly what would happen that night, before it happened. Can’t say Trump wasn’t warned, then, either.

Democrats warn Trump may use ‘red mirage’ to prematurely declare victory while absentee ballots are being counted

Are you having trouble doing math?

Alito and Thomas would have voted for Cert for sure. That means if only TWO of Trump’s three justices would have voted for Cert, then Cert would have been granted.

And I am not going to hide from any prior statement.

It’s a referendum on letting Donald Trump finish the positive vision for the future that he had started, including repairing the damage done by Joe Biden and the Deep State. If you don’t know that the Deep State is dead set against both of those, you will lose even if you win the election and put your hand on the Bible on January 20, 2025.

From that standpoint, yes, Trump lost.

Trump lost the Presidency, we lost the Republic and DeSantas won't restore it, even if Trump is removed from election, and some how he is allowed to win.

So if you feel like the nomination is already a done deal, why not ignore everyone?

Well no one is here praising Hutchinson but there are plenty of Anti-Trumpers here spreading propaganda, someone has to hold you pretend freepers to account.

Try promoting Pence and badmouthing Trump here and see if anyone cares.

Like I said, what we think doesn’t matter: SCOTUS decided that AG Paxton’s argument that PA illegally changed the voting rules doesn’t matter.

Thus, Trump lost.

The sooner we accept that, the sooner we may be able to with again. Until then, we may as well walk away.

It's "folly" to expect a guy who thinks that 2020 wasn't stolen, to stop the steal in 2024.

But, but, Vivek is doing great!

We actually know what’s going on, unlike many who are attached so closely to Trump the man, they have made him an idol.

I actually care about the country. Trump is absolutely being unjustly persecuted and those doing it should spend time behind bars. At the same time, he is not a conservative, and a horrible candidate when 65% of Americans have said they will never vote for him. I will. I will vote for the Republican Nominee, whoever it is. Too bad so many Trump worshippers won’t because some misplaced loyalty to a man at the expense of their country.

Good luck with that.

Actually, when a great America First president, who is a leading candidate, who has committed no crime, is prosecuted by his corrupt communist opponent, it's loyalty to one's country and not to the individual, that leads many to support Trump.

That may be over your head a bit.

Good luck to you figuring it out.

I’ve posted many articles debunking DeSantis and his Hillary wannabe wife. I’ve been consistent in saying Trump is the strongest Republican candidate that’s running because all the rest are just shills for Wall Street and the defense contractors.

**** this guy.

He should have had Florida Marshals barring the FBI agents from entering Maralogo.

A fraud from the beginning. If he is who he says he is, he would be fighting against the Deep State fraud-against-Trump.

This is end of the Republic times, DeSantis could have showed up by defending his (state) citizen from Federal abuse.

That is exactly why I do not like what DeSantis is doing, he has no regard for the Republic no matter what he is claiming, if he did he would have worked with Trump.

I do not Worship Trump but he is the only man running that doesn't depend on the deep state for his life style. The only man in modern times that lost money personally by serving, a couple didn't fleece the country like Truman and Nixon all the rest got fairly rich by selling their office.

Unlike most critics here I remember what it was like before Biden, seems many here don't. As far as not being a conservative, that argument would carry more weight if it was't for all the conservatives like Mitch and Kevin and the ones who vote to keep them in power.
