Alan Dershowitz Explains Why He Sees No Smoking Gun In New DOJ Charges Against Trump

I hardly think that matters.

Dershowitz has been quite fair and honest in his statements about president Trump and the misuse of legal process against him.
Kudos to Alan for his integrity

And where are the other democrats - why aren’t more people speaking out against these abuses ?

He must be smoking the pipe again! Do you for one minute think that Trump is going to get his case dismissed in little technicalities? Hell no they’re out to Lynch the poor man.

He is pretty good. However, his leftist blinders have him saying "both" parties are involved, when it is clear Conservatives are reacting to Leftists initiatives.

He doesn't seem to consider the damage to the media does by being blatantly leftist.

None of the facts matter. The trial might as well be in the Soviet Union. The guilty verdict will be set as soon as the DC jurors are selected. His only hope is for an expedited appeal and overturn by the Supreme Court.

every time I hear about this case in the FakeNewsMSM worldwide, it is said to be the “MOST SERIOUS”.
examples -

veteran BBC reporter, Sarah Smith, doesn’t quote a single “legal expert” who thinks it isn’t the “strongest case”, but
gives plenty of space to a NYT/MSNBC hack (20 years WaPo) who backs her up!

3 Aug: BBC: Donald Trump indictment: Why these charges are most serious ones yet
By Sarah Smith, North America editor
Whether it leads to a conviction is unclear - some legal experts have said this is not the strongest case.

But these charges are, in my view, the most serious and potentially the most consequential that Donald Trump has yet faced. Not least because they relate to things that happened whilst he was still president...

Some US commentators have introduced another reason why they think these charges are the most serious. They see in Mr Trump’s alleged conduct a threat to the ideals that underpin the bedrock of the country.

Not since the nation’s founding has any president “voted out of office been accused of plotting to hold onto power in an elaborate scheme of deception and intimidation that would lead to violence in the halls of Congress,” writes Peter Baker in the New York Times.

He goes on: “As serious as hush money and classified documents may be, this third indictment in four months gets to the heart of the matter, the issue that will define the future of American democracy.”...

taxpayer-funded ABC Australia give all their space to media darling of the left, a Prof from UCLA!

4 Aug: ABC Australia: ANALYSIS: Donald Trump remains defiant, but this indictment over alleged 2020 election interference could be the most serious yet
By North America bureau chief Jade Macmillan in Washington DC
As University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) law professor Richard Hasen put it, this case “directly implicates American democracy”...

This indictment could be the most serious yet.

“Putting aside violent crime, these are probably the most serious political crimes that someone could commit,” Hasen said.

“And if proven, I think it would leave history judging Donald Trump as the person who tried to bring down American democracy. That’s why I think this case is so monumental.”...

The democrat party’s plan is not to convict, just to prosecute. They believe that the punishment is the process itself. This is called lawfare and it is the democrat party’s favorite weapon in this ongoing CWII.

If the Dershman keeps defending Trump, he’s going to suddenly find himself on the business end of government action against him.
