TRUMP CALLS FOR COMMON SENSE ELECTION SYSTEM REFORM

President Trump touched on the importance of securing the U.S. election system this week while on-air with Real America’s Voice. He noted that the strategy of focusing on “same day” voting for Republicans “wasn’t working” amid Democrats’ continued push for mail-in ballots and prolonged voting periods.

He acknowledged, “Republicans do like to vote on Tuesday, they like to go vote and see the vote and feel it – you know, they’re proud Americans. That’s the way it’s been. And by the way, that’s the way it should be.”

Trump pointed out, “When you have mail-in ballots, you’re never going to get an honest vote…they’re being sent to people that aren’t supposed to be getting them. There’s no security. It’s disgraceful.”

He highlighted France’s abandonment of the mail-in voting system and their return to a consolidated, same-day voting system with paper ballots. Trump stated, “That’s where we should be, too. And we’ve got to get it back, and [that’s] one of the things I’ll do, is get that back.”

In 2020, the onset of the Covid pandemic conveniently facilitated a nationwide push toward using mail-in ballots for voting. Pew Research Center found that a little over 50 percent of the presidential primary votes cast in 2020, for example, were by mail.

Since the 2020 presidential election, countless reports and claims have been made regarding alleged irregularities and problems with mail-in ballots. Former GOP gubernatorial Kari Lake has famously challenged the election processes that took place in Maricopa County’s 2022 midterm election.

According to page 44 of an initial lawsuit that she brought against the county’s election officials and former Arizona Democrat Secretary of State Katie Hobbs, she alleged 298,942 votes received on Election Day received no chain of custody documentation. These included ballots retrieved from ballot drop boxes and early-vote ballots.

Per RSBN, President Trump has additionally lent his support recently to the Bank Your Vote campaign, which urges Republicans to vote early.

Bingo - Trump is absolutely right. Republicans have the advantage in Election Day ballots, but that's overwhelmed by the 100% advantage Democrats have in harvested ballots. If Republicans can even make a dent in the harvested ballot advantage, they will start winning on the national level again. Trump has the money to fund his own harvesting mechanism, and if he's going to win in 2024, he has to get it up and running now.

Trump pointed out, “When you have mail-in ballots, you’re never going to get an honest vote…they’re being sent to people that aren’t supposed to be getting them. There’s no security. It’s disgraceful.”

Yet he signed the CARES Act which flooded the country with untraceable mail-in ballots and then stupidly told Republicans not to vote by mail (I didn't listen to him).

And when Rep. Thomas Massie said this was a bad idea, here was Trump's reply:

If 2020 was stolen, it's because Trump left the garage door open and went on vacation.

That’s not the “new” American way. Common sense never enters the equation.

About the same as “common sense” tax reform.

THEY DO NOT WANT THAT TO HAPPEN. OTHERWISE THEY WOULD HAVE ALREADY DONE IT!

Always reactionary. He had four years to yell this from the roof top. instead, he bashed mail in and early voting. Only same day voting for republicans because after all its 1973.

Well, at least he gets it now. That's more than you can say for Ronna McDaniel and most establishment Republicans, who are absolutely hopeless in their cluelessness.

"Always reactionary."

Consult a dictionary about what "reactionary" means. At least Donald Trump learns from history.

Ron Desantis, on the other hand, hasn't learned how really listen to voters. He's a politician and nothing else.

I think VP Pence was put in charge of voter reform during the Trump administration. Of course he had no intention of doing anything.

Every state should be required to report there total number of registered voters on the 15th of October. Registrations should then be halted.

If it is going to be like RAT “common sense” gun confiscation, I don’t think we need it.

Don’t pick on Trump. Republicans had fallen asleep on Democrat election fraud for decades. That’s how Nixon got cheated out of the Presidency during his first run.

Amen. The RATs have been doing ballot harvesting with illegal aliens in California since at least 2008.

voter-id is only part of the problem.

counting is another.

and the third is democrat control of the courts to insure no cases are ever brought.

best solution for voting would be distributed, public, block-chain using ‘ballot’ wallets keyed to your voter-id, password, and biometric (finger print, palm print, retinal scan, etc). all from your smart device. don’t have one? you can use the one made available at the local fire department. votes would be pushed to the block-chain and available, digitally signed into place, almost instantly.

The word “reactionary” is typically used by communists to describe who they label “the bourgeoisie”. Freudian slip?

Trump isn’t serious about Republicans ballot harvesting. He knows that’s not a solution. He is telling you what he’s going to do. Most people think he means after the 2024 election. I don’t think so.
