Breitbart ^ | 08/04/2023 | Ian hatchett

During an interview with Bloomberg on Friday, acting Labor Secretary Julie Su claimed that “prices are lower than they were a year ago, and significantly so.” And that gas prices “continue to come down.”

Host Joe Mathieu asked, “Well, so you’re clearly up on the state of the job market right now, and workers, I suspect, are too. Lower unemployment, rising wages, but those — again, those two trends come together in an inflationary way. How do you balance those two moving forward?”

Gas prices were 40 cents a gallon cheaper— two weeks ago. It’s not due to the “seasonal additives” changeover. Cause we aren’t in winter... yet.

“The correct baseline for comparison is 2019.”

I would say 2021 after biden took over.

I was in Kroger the other day and an 18 pack of XL eggs was $1.50, last year it was over $3.

So some prices have retreated.

LIAR! Gas is $3.65 A gallon here in northeast Oklahoma! We’re spending almost twice as much for food as we were under Trump! So tired of the lies!

“This gaslighting is unbelievable”

They continue to count on the sublime ignorance and apathy of the majority of their mind-numbed supporters and constituents. It has worked so well for them in the past. Leftists (Democrats) are not rooted in reality or truth and never have been. Quite the opposite.

Quite right. I keep a spreadsheet of grocery items and prices for weekly home delivery purposes. I have to constantly revise the prices up-ward every week. They’re lying, as usual.

Guess anything that goes up, say $5.00 and comes down $1.00 is down. 2+2=5

“And there’s more good news”, said Secretary Wu, “we are increasing your chocolate rations from 25 grams to 20 grams a week.”

A couple of days ago they were interviewing some gov’t official bragging about how gas prices were down when the camera man panned over to a gas station sign to show gas at $5/gallon.

Similar to the case from Canada where a transportation official was bragging about fewer delays when the camera man panned up to a board showing at least half of the flights ‘delayed’. No doubt both camera men were fired.

It is a LIE. Gasoline (and diesel) prices are up at least $.20 per gallon in a week.

$.30 here!

Have these people ever been to a real grocery store?

My $40 trip to the grocery store is $75-80 now. And that’s just an intermediate shopping trip.
