Famous detransitioner Chloe Cole is being praised for debunking TV “scientist” Neil deGrasse Tyson’s latest screed against biological science.
She performed the debunking in a Twitter video she uploaded Tuesday. In the video, she played clips from a TikTok that Tyson had posted in May and then refuted every single one of the “points” he’d made.
Watch:
Her video began with a clip of Tyson ranting about chromosomes.
“Apparently, the XX/XY chromosomes are insufficient because when we wake up in the morning, we exaggerate whatever feature that we want to portray the gender of our choice,” he said.
Cole rebutted this point by noting that there’s a difference between biology and cosmetics.
“How about we stop confusing basic human biology with cosmetics. Like what a weird jump. I don’t wear makeup most days. If I leave the house without makeup on, does that make me like 75 percent male?” she asked.
The next clip from Tyson showed him talking about the Constitution.
“Somewhere I think I read that the United States was a land where we have the pursuit of happiness,” he said, his point being to ask why anti-trans activists care so much about people pursuing the trans lifestyle.
“If it was only truly about aesthetics, nobody would care. It’s my business because you’re using 1950s gender stereotypes to justify an ideology that leads to the sterilization and mastectomies of 15-year-old girls who just don’t fit in. Girls like me,” Cole replied.
Returning to Tyson, the 64-year-old TV “scientist” then repeated his talking point about how people can just magically choose their gender each morning.
Suppose no matter my chromosomes, today I feel 80 percent female, 20 percent male. I’m going to put on makeup. I’m going to do that. tomorrow I might feel 80 percent male,” he said.
Cole replied by mocking his own personal lack of masculinity.
“I wonder what his gender was when he recorded this. Like, he doesn’t have a muscle shirt on, right? No sprayed tan. no falsies. He’s probably like 50 percent male,” she said.
The final clip of Tyson showed him asking the public why other people’s gender decisions matter to them.
“I’ll remove the makeup and I’ll wear a muscle shirt. Why do you care? What business is it of yours to require that I fulfill your inability to think of gender on a spectrum?” he said.
Cole then spat out her final rebuttal.
“The only thing that you’ve established in this video is that men wear trousers and tank tops, but women, they wear lipsticks and dresses,” she said.
“The idea that people can be percentages of either male or female just further reinforces the fact that biological sex is a binary. There’s only two. There may be only two sexes, but there are an infinity of personalities. I mean, it really doesn’t take a degree in astrophysics to understand that,” she added.
Her rebuttal has earned her heavy praise:
Cole was also recently praised when she testified before the House Judiciary Committee.
“I used to believe that I was born in the wrong body, and the adults in my life whom I trusted affirmed my belief and this caused me lifelong, irreversible harm. I speak to you today as a victim of one of the biggest medical scandals in the history of the United States of America,” she said.
“I speak to you in the hope that you will have the courage to bring the scandal to an end and ensure that other vulnerable teenagers, children, and young adults don’t go through what I went through,” she added.
She later concluded her testimony by urging Congress to put a stop to children transitioning to another gender.
“I didn’t need to be lied to. I needed compassion. I needed to be loved. I needed to be in therapy to help me work through my issues, not affirm to my delusion that by transforming into a boy, it would solve all my problems. We need to stop telling 12-year-olds that they were born wrong, that they are right to reject their own bodies and feel uncomfortable with their own skin,” she said.
“We need to stop telling children that puberty is an option, that they can choose what kind of puberty they will go through. … Puberty is a rite of passage to adulthood, not a disease to be mitigated. Today, I should be at home with my family celebrating my 19th birthday and instead, I’m making a desperate plea to my elected representatives: learn the lessons from other medical scandals like the opioid crisis to recognize that doctors are human too, and sometimes they are wrong. My childhood was ruined along with thousands of deep transitioners that I know through our networks. This needs to stop,” she added.
Please say more on this subject. Everything about soul and soul growth is very important and interesting to me. My beliefs about gender identity vs biology are similar to yours.
I died, left my body, crossed over to Heaven, and returned to my body.
NDE stands for Near Death Experience, a term coined by Raymond Moody.
There was nothing “Near” about it for me.
If you want to get to the foundation of understanding the soul, seek to understand “consciousness. “
A good place to start is to understand brain wave frequencies as measured in an EEG and the correlated ages and attributes.
Than add to it the gamma frequencies that are the frequencies of the mystics.
Our perception of reality is a function of the frequency of consciousness from which we view it.
The lack of Love in humans is a major reason for much of the mental illness, no matter the gender.
*********
Do you mean the lack of Love as ability to love or as lack of receipt of love from those around the person?
Taking it further, the soul evolves over many lifetimes. The pattern is seven embodiments male, seven female. On that change into the other gender, there may be momentums hanging over from the past seven. When these are amplified by aberrant psychology and chemistry, the individual reaches out for relief in a gender change. But it’s only palliative, and regret ensues sooner or later. But we always know our gender before embodiment, as that it what the individual needs and accepts for soul development.
Good question.
Both.
First is the mother’s love for the child in her womb. This is necessary for healthy fetal development. If a child was unwanted, they know it and it creates an underlying personality trait of never feeling good enough, no matter how successful they are in life. When I touch these memories in a person’s soul it knocks the person over backward off their feet.
Second is the love between the parents. This allows a parent to be there for the developing child to hold on, but does not create an unhealthy co-dependency needy love between one parent and the child. ( When I stimulate a childhood memory of parents fighting in front of the child, the child starts physically shaking, even though the child is now an adult)
The most important love is an unconditional self acceptance exactly as you are. L9ve both the good and the bad, as if you reject the bad you can’t change it to good. By this I mean not using love as a carrot on a stick that you chase and if you catch it you can now love yourself.
Chase the carrot on the stick and better yourself because you love yourself, not as a prerequisite to loving yourself.
Finally, it is the Love of God that keeps your soul growing and expanding upward.
Jesus’s two commandments are the most important scriptures in the Bible.
First, there is no set number.
Second, they alternate as one must raise both masculine and feminine in balance.
This is why couples tend to resonate when they meet a partner at the same level of development.
Jesus’s two commandments are the most important scriptures in the Bible.
**********
What are Jesus’ two commandments?
It’s a bit more complicated than that. I can only speak from what I directly observe and experience. I do not speculate based upon theories, beliefs, or experiences of others.
Love God is the first, and Love thy neighbor as thyself is the second.
I emphasize the word “Thyself” in the second commandment. I actually like the paraphrase by the Sufi poet Rumi of the second commandment. “Life is about finding and removing the obstacles to Love within thyself.”
I remember in a Bible study discussing that Jesus told us to love our neighbors on the same level as ourselves. Not putting others above ourselves. On the same level as ourselves.
But we must also Love ourselves. I’m not speaking of pride, just unconditional self love or self acceptance.
