The Redfield & Wilton Strategies survey found 51 percent of Floridians believe Donald Trump is "most likely to be the Republican nominee for the 2024 presidential election," versus 15 percent who believe it will be DeSantis. All other candidates came in at two percent or less, with 21 percent saying they didn't know.
The survey of 840 eligible voters in Florida was conducted from July 25-26, with the pollster stating it is 95 percent certain that each value is within 3.38 percent of the true result.

It was amusing the article spins things and says 'a notably higher proportion' of women vs men think desantis will be the next republican candidate, 16 to 13 percent...
desanctimonious won't win Florida...
Likely desantis won't win anything else either, in the future...
2028 will come soon enough...
That’s like saying water is wet.
So, Trump is still stuck at only half of Republican support. You guys can quit spamming these same exact poll results until something changes. Thanks.
I went into a thread last night about what a true conservative DeSantis is, and all the usual suspects were in there having their pro-DeSantis mutual circular self-gratification.
I didn’t interrupt them. Best to let them have their way with each other. It has to take some imagination.
Yeah... neither do I.
Yep, Trump has about half the republican support....
and desanctimonious has dropped into the 10’s-20 after 2 months since his ‘official’ launch and crash....
But desantis could still win!
He’s at 15%!
Just think... if all the undecides went to him, he’d be at 36%!
And the margin of error could add another 3.4%, so he could be at 39.4%....
desantis still could win with his 39.4%..........against Trump’s 51%
really.....
(says desantis supporters)
Yes. We get these same people who jump into every thread where they denounce Trump, and that is all they do.
The poster above is a good example of that type, and doesn’t seem to understand that polling at 15% in his OWN state (even this early) is a disaster for the Governor.
Granted, the driving force is that they may not want to see him leave his current job, and that is laudable as he is a fine governor for a state.
But it is still 15%. And people like the poster above doesn’t see that as a problem.
The last Republican lawyer in the White House was Gerald Ford. The last lawyer to win the GOP nomination in a presidential election was Bob Dole.
You’d be hard pressed to find a more insufferable group of losers than Republican lawyers in national politics.
This is why DeSantis is going nowhere.
Deep State trying to make Gavin a thing again
🤣🤣🤣🤣

It’s on FNC with Hannity...
How appropriate.
And DeSantis is stuck at a tiny fraction of Republican support. You can quit spamming these threads. Just stop.
“desanctimonious won’t win Florida...Likely desantis won’t win anything else either, in the future...”
Given the polling numbers, Trump is basically the incumbent here. The others are simply jockeying for attention.
Trump is stuck at 50% against a divided field, which will consolidate. According to some polls who even dig into Trump’s 50%, half of that 50% are still considering alternatives. The first state doesn’t even vote for 6 more months!
Someone posted this on Twitter yesterday that I though summed it up well:
Suggesting the nominee be decided upon by current polls with samples that don’t even come out to a micro-percent of the real actual voter base is literally the most communist-bent suggestion I have heard yet from so called “conservatives”.
It is disgusting. Completely and totally against what the founding fathers fought and risked their lives for. Absolute slap in the face to everything they stood for.
When someone has to announce it, it brings the famous quote from Ralph Waldo Emerson to mind:
"The louder he talked of his honor, the faster we counted our spoons."
It is the only way to save '28.
LOL. Ya Trump stuck at winning. Where was desanctomonious again? Oh ya, stuck at loosing in every single state and territory. Again, I LOL at you fools.
Deep state asset.
