Pistol Brace owners can join GOA or Second Amendment Foundation as members are immune to ATF while this issue is under court review. All current members are shielded from any ATF harrassment over pistol braces.

It makes the pistol more dangerous. Last I checked, this was the main point of a pistol.
If by dangerous one means likely to hit something other than the intended target, I think one could argue that it makes the pistol safer.

But gun control advocates argued the braces could be used to lengthen a concealable handgun, making it more dangerous. So if a firearm is more concealable it is more dangerous but now if it is less concealable it is more dangerous. OK

If it’s a class action, wouldn’t you have had to have been a member before the lawsuit was filed?

I have AR-15 in rifle, pistol and NFA SBR tax-stamped configs. I never configured the pistol format with a brace. Frankly, the AR-15 pistol with a naked buffer tube is awkward to shoot. If the SBR process was less onerous and expensive, I would convert all the naked buffer pistols to proper SBR. ATF could do that in a heartbeat and clear the lawsuits in short order. It seems ATF is more motivated to manufacture a crime by definition vs a simple resolution.

RE: "But gun control advocates argued the braces could be used to lengthen a concealable handgun, making it more dangerous." Huh? Making it more difficult to conceal and more accurate makes it "more dangerous"? SMH.

The Biden admin
rule required gun owners to register pistol braces,
a gun rights group and a gun dealer filed a lawsuit challenging the law
OK, is it rule or a law?
