Most people assume that others have the same moral code as themselves. We assume that others agree it is wrong to lie, steal, and manipulate others for our own gain. So, it can come as a shock when you cross paths with someone who shatters that perception.
Narcissistic sociopaths are not always easy to identify. Some people may show traits of a narcissistic sociopath. But only when these patterns of behavior are severe and interfere in their life and the lives of those around them that this person would potentially be considered to have a personality disorder.
Rather than beg, these guys should just shut down for a few days right now. That will solve the problem pretty quick.

My father worked for the TVA in the Tennessee Valley. They built all the dams that made any sense in the Tennessee River and its tributaries, then had to build steam plants to keep up with the electricity demand. And a few nukes.

Green energy is not only not green;it’s also inadequate. It should never supplant conventional energy production until it is proven that it can. Personally, I don’t think that will ever happen with current systems. They have adequate proof of this, at the present state of the art. I can see “green energy” only useful as an optional power source where standard power sources might not be enough in emergency conditions.
