Have you noticed that most 'solar collector farms' use up what is considered the best, flat, agricultural farmland ?
Ever notice that most solar collector "farms " are secured by fencing and barbed wire ?
Let's call them what they really are -> 'Solar barios' ?
Well, now we won’t have to worry about that, will we? 😆
I grew up one of several dairy farms in my small town. The farm just up the road from us had a huge field used to grow hay, corn, whatever was needed. Those dairy farms are not in operation any longer, but that field is now completely covered by solar panels.
Just wait until these solar farms are worn out and decommissioned. The toxic waste will be horrendous and almost impossible to recycle or naturally eliminate.
Yes, using up the prime ag land...happening all around me disgusting.
Oops. How useful is a solar farm near the Canadian border with lake effect snow during winter? Asking for a friend.
Build one on the Sheep Meadow in Central Park, The Hamptons, Montauk, Chappaqua, Laurel hollow.
Agreed
