Even if you park it on the street, it'll be a problem in dry climate like Southern California.

No worries. I just shine huge spotlights on those solar panels. It’s a net energy gain. Sure, that violates the law of conservation of energy. But nobody has time to talk about that.
LOL !
My 50 miles in winter will be a lie?
Not for a full charge...
“I guess EVs are going to need frequent “boosters” since the performance is less than expected.
Anyone see a pattern here?”
LOL !
Another issue is that lithium ion batteries lose 20-25% charge capacity after ~200 discharge cycles.
So you start out with limited range, then lose 25% more in the first couple of years, and the battery continues to deteriorate after that.
Everyone has seen this with their laptops and phones, but they expect the EVs to be magically better.

And also with no load. No towing, no passengers, and nothing heavy in the trunk, please.
I have noticed even my Dell laptops after 2-3 years will only work if they are plugged into their charger, otherwise they may hold 20-30 minutes of power.
its not a bug
its part of the plan
the masses will be on the bus
Just six weeks to two months ago, there was a ship carrying
ice vehicles, that also was on fire. It was also a real
mess.

last seen licking his/her wounds at all the laughter aimed at him/her and his endless proselytizing of the damn things.
But, he has a goofy looking mustang that all the kids in the neighborhood lust after.

Haven’t seen anything by him. Maybe he’s wherever Willie Green is. I don’t miss his EV cheerleading and lies. Do you?
The burning car carrier sunk last year unless there’s another one.
If you only use the driving motor, maybe.
But if you use heat or AC or charge your phone off the dash...
...well, the power for them comes off the same battery.
He’s been around stirring the pot on other threads as if he knows what he is talking about, just like every other leftist towing the party ine.
It is the plastic bag fiasco all over again. How’s the ocean’s garbage islands with all the plastic water bottles going?
In addition, people are advised to limit the discharge to around 20% and limit the charge to around 80% to maximize battery life. So on a practical level, on a day-to-day basis, figure on 60% of the advertised range.
