I totally understand your skepticism, but I'm not so sure.
I wouldn't be surprised if the Democrats try to craft a "Richard Nixon" moment here, and tell Joe Biden to step down for the good of the party.
Now, what that "good of the party" is I can't say. It could be that they are so sure of their voter fraud machine that they could put a ham sandwich in office (that's YOU, Kamala).
I we WERE to look to Watergate for clues, it's possible to me that the Democrats will see no way out and decide that it's better for their long-term agenda (something Republicans fail at) to amputate the limb and strengthen the remaining parts of the body.
It's not my nature to give Democrats political advice, but here is what I would do here:
- The Bidens are a criminal liability. Throw them all under the bus.
- Kamala Harris will ascend to the presidency as the first black woman president who slept her way to the top and then threw out her boss to take his job. She will then cite Gerald Ford (the first president nobody voted for, as Archie Bunker once said) and pardon Joe and Hunter Biden for the sake of the nation.
- The Democrats will rush to flood the zone with primary candidates to ensure that Harris does not make it to the convention. Hello, Gavin!
- At this point, the Democrats will start to lose control of the monster that Bidenstein created. Maybe Andrew Cuomo will decide to run. Maybe Heir Whitmer will run. Chief Warren. Hillary!
- At this point, I can't see any further. The clown show will just have to parade before us.
