When the official court transcript from Hunter Biden’s foiled plea agreement hearing Wednesday in Delaware was posted online late Wednesday evening, I went through it with a fine-tooth comb to see what happened, intending to analyze it here at RedState. As the hours wore on, I threw my hot takes up on Twitter. That thread (the beginning of it, anyway) now has more than 1 million views and has been referenced/read from on the Dan Bongino Show and Timcast and possibly others.
Now we have the full plea agreement document and the diversion agreement document, neither of which were available when I was reading the court transcript last night (or at least that I hadn’t seen, since I was concentrating). I’m still creating my analysis post, incorporating both of those documents and with the benefit of sleep and further information (such as the juvenile response by Hunter Biden’s legal team, which confirms some of my hot take thoughts), but thought RedState readers who aren’t on Twitter might enjoy this. Warning, I copy/pasted it from my Twitter so it’s quick-and-dirty and I can’t guarantee perfect spelling or punctuation. Oh, and there might be a cuss word or two sprinkled in.
Here’s the link to my Twitter thread…and here goes!

.
The agreement was to give Hunter Lifetime Immunity.
The DoJ Prosecutor couldn’t bring himself to say it in Court under oath, but it was all setup to a hidden transaction.
.
Thank goodness it wasn’t a FISA Court.
“Thank goodness it wasn’t a FISA Court.”
I expect the just will have an attitude adjustment very soon and the errors in her opinion will be explained to her very succinctly.
Lawyers aren’t lying when they are lying.
Joe Digennova just said the same on Newsmax. Both sets of attorneys deserve to be sanctioned.
Except Hunter Biden, apparently...
If it goes to trial, the prosecutor will throw the case for a not guilty verdict.
This point was when the chit hit the fan.
Feds “This investigation is ongoing”
Hunter’s team “Hey! That’s not we agreed to!”
.
Yeah, haven’t heard that one applied to the Dirty Delaware Royal Swampers!
Excellent point!
THE ARROGANCE OF HUNTER & HIS LEGAL TEAM IS BREATH TAKING
I’m not sure I’d characterize the plea agreement as a “fraud upon the court” as much as an “ask for the moon” exercise. Yes, it (blanket, future immunity for Hunter) was snuck into the deal, in a sneaky way. But that is a defense attorney’s job, and until the day this deal died, virtually every judicial decision on every and any topic, in dozens of cases had gone pro-Biden.
The only thing that puzzles me about this event is how quickly and abruptly the defense nixed the deal as soon as the judge started asking questions. I mean, the defense quashed the deal like a hot potato as soon as the judge starting poking around, literally on question #1. I would have thought the defense would have fought harder to preserve the deal as written.
.
Absolutely!
It worse than the Media let’s on.
They were misleading the Court to get a Motion from the US House Ways and Means Committee - and they actually got the filing removed.
While they were doing that they filed an Ethics Complaint against MTG.
.
Breathtaking? *snort* More like, par for the course.
The defense counsel was counting their on co-conspirator, dirty DOJ prosecutors to do their sneaky work for them with the judge. When that failed (to their surprise and horror), they knew their best next step was to get away from any more damaging and revealing questioning from the judge asap.
The Feds like to pull the wool over courts. For example, the FISA Court.
Feds got caught with their pants down.
Feds only said that because they got caught.
