I will never understand the views of purists who bemoan that Obama was allowed to become president but had no power to stop him. But who feel that it’s perfectly acceptable to handicap the Republican candidates that they do have some power over. And they’ll be smugly superior if they get their way. Which they won’t, thank goodness.
