That's right, Vivek Ramaswampy was not a natural born Citizen at birth ensuring sole allegiance to the United States. He's ineligible. He's a statutory Citizen but not an Article 2 Section 1 natural born Citizen. The two are not the same. Nowhere in the 14th Amendment are the words "natural born Citizen".

Clause 5 Qualifications:

[No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.]

As you see, the only time a Citizen could be president was at the time of the adoption of the Constitution until a first generation natural born Citizen was eligible. Martin Van Buren was the first natural born Citizen president.
