Most people have NO CLUE how much current is consumed to charge an EV. They think it’s like a 40 watt light bulb. There is no way the current base load will be adequate to support demand for EVs. And forget the usefulness of the $million pinwheels dotting the landscape especially in cloudy climates.
Not only is common sense not common anymore, neither are critical thinking skills.

Oh, that's not a problem. You just won't be able to charge your very expensive electric cars on days ending in "Y" -- unless you're part of the club, that is.
