Former National Intelligence Director John Ratcliffe criticized former Defense Secretary Leon Panetta for saying he does not regret signing the letter suggesting the Hunter Biden's laptop story was "Russian disinformation." Ratcliffe said, "everyone knows" Panetta and other former intelligence officials "made a mistake" with their declaration before the 2020 election. Ratcliffe said on "Fox & Friends," that the officials, including Secretary of State Antony Blinken, were running a "political interference operation."
"JOHN RATCLIFFE: I appreciate Secretary Panetta's prior service to the country, but everyone knows that he did make a mistake. Everyone knows that he was wrong. Everyone knows that the 51 people that signed that, whether they intended to or not, and some of them clearly did. In the case of Mike Morrell, John Brennan, James Clapper and Antony Blinken, they ran a political interference operation. They intended to mislead the American people weeks before the election. And unfortunately for all of them, the last chapter of the story isn't written as Hunter's problems continue, and as Joe Biden gets embroiled within this. There's going to be greater focus on the fact that all of these things, all of these things that were related were on the laptop, have been verified, and that there was a fraud on the American people shortly before the election and that they all played an important role in that. I hate these evil people.
Jugheads will be jugheads. Remember. Liberals NEVER have GOOD ideas. They’re all crap.
Mistake?! It was a crime.
“Mistake” my little brown eye.
the ends always justifies the means with these people.
I did not read the entire statement from Panneta, but what i did read seemed to me that Panneta was more than happy to lie about the laptop regardless of whether or not it was a mistake.
Chris Wallace was up to his eyeballs in this during the debate, and prevented the laptop from being discussed.
That was the single most effective censorship of the campaign.
And we have a compromised, corrupt president because of that.
Step 1: Deny everything, admit nothing.
Step 2: If denial is no longer feasible, admit as little as possible, and deny everything else.
Step 3: If that doesn’t work, find a scapegoat to blame before you get picked as the scapegoat.
Panetta’s on step 2. We’ll know he’s really feeling the heat if he goes to step 3.
He didn’t make a mistake. It was a calculated lie to keep Biden in the race because they all knew the steal was in, and that the steal would be successful, even if it took two weeks to make it happen.
I count this as another example of Biden syndrome.
Senile, stuck in his ways Panetta is 85.
“He didn’t make a mistake. It was a calculated lie to keep Biden in the race because they all knew the steal was in, and that the steal would be successful, even if it took two weeks to make it happen.”
Bingo. Trump was getting too close to revealing the entire crooked cabal. He had already pulled back the curtain on the lying press that covered for the corruption of the political class. So people were no longer believing the excuses and lies published on the D.C. corrupticon’s behalf. They couldn’t allow him another term and they had to discredit him before he brought down the entire political mob.
The would and will do what ever necessary to keep him from returning to the White House. Thus the letter from the 51 traitors. Thus the impeachments. Thus the indictments. Thus whatever comes next.
Sad that some of the others on this board refuse to see the truth.
Dingy Harry Reid ploy... “We won, didn’t we?”...
He knew it was a lie when he signed the letter. This was all part of a scam and still is.
DITTO
Pancetta is A LEFT WING HACK, TOTALLY DISHONEST.
He does not regret it because it got Biden elected. The truth be damned.
