Isn’t a fire caused by an EV a green event and therefore good for the birdies environment?

Don’t you love the irony? An environmentally “safe” car catches fire on a ship, that if it sinks, could cause huge damage to a sensitive ecological system! Gotta love those tree huggers.

"Reuters reports that about 350 of the vehicles onboard the ship are Mercedes-Benz products. However, it’s still not confirmed what the rest of the vehicles are. Reports say that of the approximately 3,000 vehicles, 25 of them are electric."

Why the heck didn't you include the following in the excerpt???

The Japanese-owned ship carrying 2,857 cars, including 25 electric cars, is close to a chain of islands and the World Heritage-listed Wadden Sea, an important habitat for migratory birds.

The U.S. National Transportation Safety Board has warned about the possible dangers of electric vehicle battery fires, a hazard that stems from thermal runaway, a chemical reaction that causes uncontrolled battery temperature and pressure increases.

Holy cow/sheesh. /s

Ship those damaged cars to Missouri! The scrappers will fix them, make them look good, then slip them down into Arkansas where they will be sold through auto auctions as “Abandoned cars”.
And for $45 you can get a nice clean Arkansas title showing they have never been burned or damaged.
Guaranteed to drive well, till you get them off the lot.
