His balance seemed OK.

Strokes can affect small parts of the brain.
I talked to someone who was shopping and suddenly couldn’t walk anymore. Had to go to the hospital and found out they had a stroke that affected the motor control part of the brain. The odd thing about it was that they were still standing and could still think clearly.

Yeah...I was just addressing dizziness. Seemed to lose the ability to speak.

That happened to my late father-in-law. He was diagnosed with glioblastoma multiforme soon after.
